In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Bloomington; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Illinois are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Bloomington is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bloomington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The first couple of times I had Annie’s eats it was good. There was a rib tip special that really lured me in. It’s not something I’ve seen since but the best item they’ve had for sure. The next few times I got things ranging from the sampler platters to just slabs or ribs and burnt ends. I noted a few times that the ribs seemed a bit dry and the brisket was extremely dry but I chalked it up to an off day. I did note that it seemed like the food was steadily going downhill from my initial experience. Today to celebrate burnt ends day I got a couple pounds for lunch. Wow, what happened? They are so, so extremely dry. Like beef jerky, no joke. Clears out your throat going down. The sauce is very sweet which isn’t my preference but something I can work with. The burnt ends were truly burnt and the worst I’ve ever had from a restaurant. I’m not sure if it was another off day or if this is how they usually are but definitely makes me reconsider wanting to try them again.

This was my first experience at this location and wanted to try it since I was in the area. I am familiar with the kind of food they serve here and I do love my comfort foods just have to be in the mood for it. Upon entering I tried to look online to see how to order food there but ended up just going with the St Louis ribs, fries, corn bread and Mac n cheese. I believe my total was a little more than 20.00 and the wait wasn't bad at all I think about 15 mins. I was taking it to go as I was taking a Lyft home. Upon getting home getting into the meal the meat was very tender as in comes right off the bone, the cornbread was fluffy and almost cake like not dense like a lot of cornbread you encounter I happen to like and have experienced both its a matter of preference I think. The fries were nicely seasoned and the one thing I did enjoy was the Mac n cheese which I did not get enough of in that small cup serving that comes with it. The Mac n cheese was very cheese and comes off almost like a baked version minus the crisping on the top, its thick. I happen to like many versions of Mac n cheese and this would def fit into that realm again I just wish there was more to balance out the m

TEXAS TWINKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!?? I have never known love before. They smoke their meat so it's tender enough, though I am more partial to traditional BBQ when it comes to rib tips. The rub is more subtle than bold and leaves you missing and wanting the sear. Service is polite and efficient. I've never had to wait more than 7 to 10 minutes for any order with Normal's own version of southern hospitality πŸ€ πŸ«‘πŸ˜‰

Absolutely the best BBQ ever, coming from someone that has eaten a lot of BBQ across the states. I've been coming here since 2018. I've had barbecued spaghetti, prime rib, beef ribs, wings, spare ribs, but my favorite has got to just be the brisket sandwich with a side of mac. The spare ribs are also amazing and flavorful, tenderness is perfect, meat sticks to the bone but comes off clean, as it should be! And the staff running this well oiled machine in the background are some of the nicest genuine people ever, it's like a family, and you feel like family coming in here.
